Luke Reevey
I am a 21-year-old university student reading Broadcast Journalism (MA) BJTC at the University of Sheffield. This comes after graduating with a 2.1 in Philosophy (BA) at the same institution in the summer of 2022.
I initially had envisaged myself as a sports journalist, but since starting the MA course, I’m open to any sector of broadcast journalism, always, preferably, in front of a camera!
I was born and raised in the small town of Berkhamsted, 10 miles from Watford and 30 miles northwest of Central London. However, after falling in love with Sheffield over the past 3 years, I'm proud to call the wonderful city "home". I intend to venture into journalism, preferably broadcast, but open to any sector (including print).
I have a strong interest in philosophy, theology and ethics, other sports (including F1, darts, MMA, and boxing), politics, history and psychology. I've always adored writing, often combining my passions by composing reports on football, or my interpretation of certain philosophical schools of thought.
This blog is a perfect opportunity for me to express my philosophical & political thoughts and views for everyone to see. I hope you enjoy!
